Unseasonal rain is expected to push up food prices
Unseasonal rain in March and April has destroyed rabi crops in various
parts of the country. Crops over 106 lakh hectares - about 18 per cent
of the area under rabi crops - have been damaged. This is expected to
push up food prices.
