It is time to bust some heads and do some serious whopping. Tekken Tag Tournament makes its return after 12 years. The sequel bring together the franchise's greatest hits consisting more than 50 players. Besides this, you can unlock more players as you progress in the game. What's so different about this fighting game from the other countless ones? For starters, you need to spend some time getting to observe your rival's attacking moves-you can't randomly keep pressing the buttons to thrash your opponents.

For first timers it is wise to head to Fight Lab where, as a Combot, you get to learn Tekken fighter techniques. In a series of training campaigns, you learn manoeuvres like Binds or Tag Assaults. Keep in mind that all these only give you an idea of how to assault your opponent. In an actual fight things are different-you have to get your timing right with your moves. This game demands split-second reactions to subtle changes. And once an attack move pays off then you must double it with an extended assault combination.

As the name suggests, you can choose to play solo or tag team combination which adds up to countless possibilities. Tag 2 comes with some interesting modes like Pair Play which is basically the Arcade mode, Ghost Mode, Survival or Team Attack, but these can't be played on the solo option.

Tag Tournament 2 is the ultimate fighting game. But it is not a walk in the park as you have to learn hundreds of attack combinations. There are countless customisation options which can be a headache. We are impatient to get down to some serious action rather than spend time decorating player. But when it comes to thrashing your opponents, this game is the best in the business.

BAG IT OR JUNK IT? A game that requires a lot of pre-fight training-like the real deal.
