Bagged: By HCL Technologies, a $170 million or Rs 848 crore worth, five-year IT services contract from Microsoft Corporation. This is the third major contract bagged by HCL in last three weeks.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries’ talks for an amicable settlement for its takeover dispute with Israel’s Taro have failed. The out-of-court negotiations had begun on a directive by Israel’s supreme Court.
