Having stocked wardrobes around the globe with his stylistic designs, designer Marc Jacobs is exploring other media and extending his style repertoire. Taking over from Jean Paul Gaultier as the creative director of Diet Coke for the year 2013, the man is all set to give the Coke can and aluminium bottles a makeover and imprint them with his signature style.

As Diet Coke celebrates 30 years of European sales, the new designs by Jacobs will capture the rise of female empowerment over the last three decades and integrate this with his favourite symbols and trademark motifs. As a prequal to what is yet to come, the designer has shot an advertisement which exposes his chiseled body in a style that reiterates the spirit of the campaign. Get ready for a lot more fizz and sizzle.
