She is speaking from experience. When she worked as Director, Project Management, Good Technology, a start-up in the US (which was later acquired by Motorola), she would take her newborn daughter everywhere with her when she travelled for work, rather than choose between home and career.
"Research has shown that women often tend to have self-doubt and in general underestimate their capabilities," says this MBA from Stanford University. "In my case, I would not hesitate to put my hand up and say I can do this and let us set goals, go out and make things happen." Words many aspiring young women professionals may want to take seriously.
