Xolo and Nvidia have come up with a seven-inch tablet powered by the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. They claim it is the world's fastest tablet. But is the tablet worth the tall claims?
The Tegra Note 7 doesn't enjoy a premium design. Heavy to hold at 320 grams, there are two speakers on the front. The back has Xolo branding on the top along with the camera and a textured design in the middle. The power key and a few jacks are placed on the edge. There is a speaker grill and a stylus hidden at the bottom. The tablet is powered by Android 4.2.2 operating system. Nvidia's Tegra Zone app store is pre-installed on this tab.
The games downloaded from Tegra Zone work smoothly.
The tab scores really high on various benchmark tests we ran on it. In real scenario usage, games like Real Racing 3, Asphalt 8 and Shadow Gun worked flawlessly. But it did heat up. Another interesting add-on to this tab is the stylus that can be used with the Nvidia Direct Stylus. It comprises two apps - draw and write.
The stylus is accurate and works well, be it for writing or sketching. The tab has a good battery backup that lasted a day with hours of gaming, web browsing and video playback.
-Perfect tablet for gaming
-Runs Nvidia Tegra 4
-A stylus has been added
Bag it or junk it: Offers incredible performance at a decent price.
