Hyderabad makes it to Lonely Planet's Top 10 Cities for 2013

Now that the hype surrounding London 2012 has waned, 2013 shines the light on a number of cities that promise to stand out in the coming year. Amongst winners, the City of Nizams, Hyderabad, has made it to Lonely Planet's Top 10 Cities for 2013.

Taken from the Best in Travel 2013 guide, San Francisco took the top spot, with Amsterdam coming in at second position, and Hyderabad in third place. Derry and Beijing were elected third and fourth respectively. While San Francisco topped the list for its cultural mix, Hyderabad was recognized for giving travellers value for money and presenting them with a novel experience.
