Nokias new toy

What is it?
Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic Phone.
Well, in a way yes.
What’s special about it?
It is Nokia’s first touch screen device. Yes, everyone has touch screen devices. Nokia is a bit late to the party because it took a while to get its touch screen technology right.
Will it be better than the iPhone?
By all indications it may not be, but Nokia does not plan to charge an arm and a leg for this device.
So, what?
Nokia’s rivals should be worried. Its overwhelming market share in India means that if it can crack the touch screen market here with devices such as the 5800, Steve Jobs will need to make another spiritual trip to India.
