Subprime and after
Even as central bank in several countries stepped in to help stabilise markets and mitigate the impact of the US subprime crisis on the broder global economy, the latest International Monetry Fund report says the period ahead may still be difficult as bouts of turbulence are likely to recur and the adjustment process will take time.
