What is it?

Snapfish (available at www.snapfish.co.in) is a site promoted by HP that allows users to store and take prints of their digital photos.

How does it work?

You pay Rs 2.95 for a 4x6 print, but you can also create prints on other media, including T-shirts and mugs.

HP allows you to store an unlimited number of photos free of cost, but you have to print at least one photo every year.

What about the competition?

Companies such as ZoomIn (www.-zoomin.com) offer similar services. The printed picture costs more, but the courier charges are cheaper.

So how is HP different?

HP has also launched a Retail Photo Solution service, which allows you to go to a store and take highquality digital prints if you don’t have a high-speed connection or don’t want to use the internet.
