
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday decided to exclude ACC scrip and include Bajaj Auto in Sensex effective from December 6.
The Index Committee of the Exchange in its meeting held on October 22, has decided to revise the composition of BSE indices. The revision in Sensex, BSE-100, BSE-200 and BSE-500 index would be effective from December 6, 2010, BSE said in a statement.
BSE-100 index will now include scrips of Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Rural Electrification Corp. Ltd and Yes Bank Ltd. Scrips of Aban Offshore Ltd, Century Textiles, India Cements and Punj Lloyd will be excluded from the BSE-100 index effective from December 6, the release said.
The BSE will include scrips of Apollo Tyres, EIH Ltd, Jet Airways (India) Mahindra and Mahindra Fin Services, Marico, Pantaloon Retail, Pipavav Shipyard and Zee Entertainment Enterprises in BSE-200 index.
