BSE posts Rs 325 cr turnover in currency derivative segment

BSE recorded trading volume of more than Rs 325 crore on the very first day of launching the currency derivatives segment. More than 50 members logged in and 48 members traded on the BOLT Plus platform, an exchange release said.

Premier stock exchange BSE has said it clocked turnover of more than Rs 325 crore on the first day of launching the currency derivatives segment.

BSE recorded trading volume of more than Rs 325 crore on the very first day of launching the currency derivatives segment. More than 50 members logged in and 48 members traded on the BOLT Plus platform, an exchange release said.

The new trading platform is based on T7, the global trading architecture of Deutsche Boerse AG.

In its currency derivatives segment, BSE offers trading in contracts of Indian rupee with US dollar, euro, British pound and Japanese yen, among others.
