
Domestic equity markets are likely to open in green tracking SGX Nifty index on the Singapore stock exchange.
At 8.43 am (IST), SGX Nifty was trading at 0.56 per cent higher than its previous close.
A research report by Maximus Securities said, "Trading of CNX Nifty futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates that Nifty could gain 46 points at the opening bell."
According to SMC Investment and Advisors, the market is likely to open flat with a positive bias on mixed investor sentiment throughout Asia prevails. Asian markets trading mix on mixed economic data from China. US markets range bound as investors watch out bond market anticipating interest rate decision of the fed.
Asian markets were trading higher, Nikkei 225 index and Hang Seng index were up 0.04 per cent and 0.26 per cent to 19,632.37 and 27477.62, respectively.
Companies like Lupin, Adani ENT, Ashoka, Aarti Industries, Deepak Nitrite, Emami, ABCIL and Smart Link may announce their earnings on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the key benchmark index BSE Sensex tanked 630 points, or 2.29 per cent, to 26,877.48. The NSE Nifty index also declined 198.30 points, or 2.38 per cent, to 8,126.95.
