Crypto in India: Is a blanket ban possible?

It's the chaos that could very well have been avoided. Crores of Indians went into total panic yesterday when it was revealed that the government planned to prohibit all private cryptos in the country. A day later, confusion still reigns with no one wiser to the real intentions of the government.
