Foxconn's Chennai factory put on probation

In a setback to Tamil Nadu’s image as an industrial manufacturing powerhouse, a factory producing iPhones near Chennai has been put on probation by Apple. The factory has been an epicentre of protests after more than two hundred and fifty employees fell ill due to food poisoning.
