Moderna claims its vaccine is effective against new strain of coronavirus

Moderna has said that its vaccine is effective against the new coronavirus strain that was detected in the UK and other countries. The firm added that based on the data received, it expects that the vaccine-induced immunity from the vaccine would be protective against the variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Apart from Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca are also hopeful of their vaccines being effective against the mutant virus. Watch the video for more.
