All details about Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta's grand engagement party

Mukesh and Nita Ambani's son Akash Ambani and his bride-to-be Shloka Mehta's pre-engagement mehendi bash was held on Wednesday in Mumbai.

According to reports, the engagement ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 30.

The engagement ceremony will see actor Shah Rukh Khan as the anchor, who is also expected to perform, along with other B-Town stars.

The mehendi ceremony, held at the Ambani residence, Antilia, was attended by actress Priyanka Chopra and her alleged beau Nick Jonas. PeeCee wore an elegant Tarun Tahiliani saree.

The actress posted a picture with the couple. "Congratulations Akash and Shloka! Such a beautiful ceremony. Mehendi hai rachne wali. Love you both. Pre, pre-engagement party."
 
 
 

Shloka opted for a heavily-embroidered navy blue and cream lehenga by Anamika Khanna, while her soon to be sister-in-law Isha wore a pink and white outfit, which also featured heavy golden embroidery.
 

Akash and Shloka's grand engagement party will be coordinated and managed by luxury wedding planner Seven Steps Weddings.

Karen Tran, a floral designer from California, has been flown in to decorate the venue. French luxury bakery, Laduree, is likely to serve their delicious fare at the engagement bash.

Akash and Shloka are childhood friends and studied together at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Shloka is the youngest daughter of Mona and Russell Mehta, who run Rosy Blue Diamonds. Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted a party for them in March after they decided to get married. A wedding date is yet to be finalised.
