Ambanis keep it traditional as pre-wedding festivities begin

RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani will tie the knot with Anand Piramal on December 12. But wedding celebrations have already begun in the Ambani family

Isha decked up for dandiya night

Mother Nita Ambani and daughter Isha were seen all decked up for the Dandiya night. The festivities officially began with Isha seeking blessings of her grandmother Kokilaben Ambani.
 

Outfits for the day

Nita and Isha both wore traditional Gujarati outfits designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Isha wore a peach hand-embroidered floral lehenga, while Nita looked stunning in a yellow and magenta heritage saree.The designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla shared their pics and described the look as 'Folksy and fabulous'.

Make-up artist Mickey Contractor also shared a picture of Nita Ambani.  The mother-daughter duo both wore polki sets.

The sea-facing bungalow

According to reports, Isha who is an entrepreneur in her own right and who launched online fashion retail brand Ajio, will be moving to a luxurious Rs 450 crore bungalow after the nuptials. The bungalow is a wedding gift to the couple from Anand Piramal's parents Ajay and Swati Piramal. The Piramals had purchased the bungalow from HUL in 2012. The bungalow offers some gorgeous views of the Arabian Sea.
 

Engagement in Italy
 
Anand and Isha got engaged in September in a lavish ceremony in picturesque Lombardy in Italy, on the shores of Lake Como. The actual pre-wedding ceremonies will commence from December 8 at the Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur. The Ambanis are reportedly integrating local culture and traditions into the festivities in Udaipur.
