The latest desktop in the market, this all-in-one PC looks no different from other all-in-one PCs though it is a bit bulkier compared to the regular LCD/TFT screen monitors.

CANON LV-8310 (Price: Rs 1,05,995)

Not only does it have a loud 7W speaker, but the image it throws is excellent too. It is much better than that of its VGA younger brother.

Verdict: Get this one and impress business clients who come visiting.

ZEBRONICS ZEBMATE CINEMA 3.0 (Price: Rs 3,300)

This low-end, new entrant sure won't catch the fancy of many with its Plain Jane looks and its overall performance. But what it compensates with is its video-playing capability, a TFT screen and a reasonable pricing.

Verdict: Only if you desperately want a video PMP at a budget price.

ACER TRAVELMATE 8472T (Price: Rs 47,000)

Acer has decided to give the long-forgotten business notebooks its new moment. It has added the new 8472 to its existing TravelMate series.

Specs: 14-inch LED screen; Intel Core i5 M430@2.27GHz; 4GB RAM; 500GB HDD; DVD-Super Multi DL drive; 3 USB ports; Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/n; Windows7 Professional

Verdict: An almost perfect business notebook worth its price.

VIEWSONIC VIEWPAD 10 (Price: Rs 38,000)

With its 10-inch screen and dual boot system, it should make the fancied names a little nervous. The ViewPad 10 grabbed a special place in our heart.

Specs: 10-inch capacitive HD display; Intel 1.66 GHz Atom processor; 1 GB RAM, 16 GB memory; 1.3 MP webcam; 2 USB ports; Windows 7 and Android OS; 835 gm

Verdict: A good tablet for professional and recreational users. Provides netbook features in a slate shell.

VIEWSONIC VIEWPAD 7 (Price: Rs 32,000)

The younger sibling of the ViewPad10 has nothing to enthuse on the design front. It is heavy and looks like a replica of the OlivePad.

Specs: 7-inch display; 600MHz ARM11 processor; 512 MB internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB; 3 MP back camera, 0.3MP front camera; Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G; G-sensor, E-compass sensor, ambient light sensor; 3.5mm audio jack; mini USB connector; 3240 mAh Li-ion battery

Verdict: Overpriced. OlivePad offers all these features at a much lower price.

ASUS G53JW (Price: Rs 1,12,499)

This powerhouse with a stereoscopic mode is perfect for games, has excellent graphics and provides loads of enjoyment.

Specs: 15.6-inch HD Glare 3D display; Intel Quad Core i7-740QM; 6GB DDR3 RAM; Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB GDDR5; 500GB Solid State Hybrid; Blu-ray 4x Combo; 3D receiver and glasses

Verdict: A great 3D gaming laptop for which you would have to pay a premium.

CANON POWERSHOT SX30IS (Price: Rs 28,990)

With a 14 MP sensor and 35x optical zoom, it brings objects from 200-300 ft away right on your face-useful to take close-ups from a distance.

Verdict: A must grab camera for people wanting to upgrade from compacts but are not ready for DSLRs.

The new entrant in the Pixma series of all-in-one deskjet printers, the MG8170, is worth drooling over. The MG8170 has polished black exteriors that give it a stylish look.

Verdict: Cool printer but only for the elite.

MICROMAX Q66 ECLIPSE (Price: Rs 6,000)

Honestly, we were not too impressed with the colour combination but there are people who are drooling about the looks. This dual SIM device is being pushed as a social networking phone.

Specs: 2.4-inch display; 2 MP camera; expandable memory up to 8GB; GPRS, Bluetooth; 118 gms; 850 mAh Li-ion battery

Verdict: For this price, the Micromax Q7 is a better looking and feature-rich phone.

SAMSUNG WAVE 533 (Price: Rs 9,900)

Our plaint is with the key elevation-the keys are not raised enough. We often ended up typing the wrong alphabets. Addition of the 'message', 'web browser' and '.com' keys comes in real handy though.

Specs: 3.2-inch display; 3.2 MP camera; 100 MB internal, expandable up to 16GB; EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi; 100 gms; 1200 mAh Li-ion battery

Verdict: An ideal touch-based phone for those who aren't fussy about the OS that runs their device.

BLACKBERRY BOLD 9780 (Price: Rs 26,000)

Recently launched, the Bold 9780 manages to carry forward the Bold series legacy. It is an identical twin to the Bold 9700-a nontouch QWERTY phone with an optical pad for navigation.

Specs: 2.44-inch display; 5 MP camera; 512 MB RAM, expandable up to 32GB; EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth; 122 gms

Verdict: Great feature set but again for a price. Wait for the price drop.

The Wave 525 isn't a looker but a rectangular plastic body with a 3.2-inch touch display looks neat. The homescreen is customisable and you can add up to 10 panels with dedicated short cuts.

Specs: 3.2-inch display; 3.2 MP camera; 100 MB internal memory, expandable up to 16GB; GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi; 100 gms; 1200 mAh battery

Verdict: At a price of Rs 8,800 it will face tough competition from Android phones in the market.

MOTOROLA CHARM (Price: Rs 13,999)

With its latest Android phone, the Charm, the company has chosen to go the way of BlackBerry looks. The Charm comes across as a great combination of a touchscreen and a QWERTY keypad.

Verdict: An option if you want an Android that looks different.

The 7 denotes the operating system that this phone runs on-the Windows Phone 7. The HD 7 lives up to the saying as this beautiful, sleek smartphone has a 4.3-inch bright capacitive display and yet is comfortable to hold and slides into the trouser pocket with ease.
