Rushabh has over 29 years of experience in money management business in India primarily in listed equities. In his career of over two decades in money management business in India. Rushabh has been involved with various formats of money management like Portfolio Management, Mutual Funds and Offshore funds; and has been closely involved in the evolution of Fund Management industry in India. Rushabh is the Portfolio Manager and also has other corporate responsibilities as Director of KCA.
Nikhil’s professional expertise of over 27 years is in the field of Portfolio Management and Research In Listed India Equities spanning several market cycles and different money management formats.Nikhil followed his calling of entrepreneurship when he founded Karma Capital Advisors in 2005 along with his former colleagues. The motivation for founding Karma Capital was to build a platform for like-minded team members who believe in a value oriented investment philosophy with a focus on long term value creation for clients.
Mr. Vinay Jain joined Karma Capital in May 2013. Prior to joining Karma Capital, he worked with SS&C GlobeOp Financial Services Ltd in Valuations division for nine months where he was responsible for carrying out independent valuation analysis for non-OTC, illiquid and hard to value (HTV) securities for Hedge Fund and Pension Fund clients. As part of his Post Graduation Internship, he had worked with Karma Capital as a Management Trainee in May – June 2011. He has completed his MBA in Finance from University of Mumbai and has also done his B.E. in Electronics from University of Mumbai
Darshan is currently a Portfolio Manager at Karma Capital Advisors, having joined in 2020. He has an overall buy side research experience of over 12 years and at Karma Capital he’s a key member of the research and fund management team. His responsibilities include managing small and midcap funds at Karma Capital, and coverage of companies in key focus sectors including information technology, business services, auto and auto ancillaries, industrials, and consumer durables. He is also responsible for new idea generation, maintenance and tracking of existing portfolio positions, marketing, and portfolio analytics. Darshan works with the research team to provide research insights for portfolio decisions, and various research related activities. Prior to joining Karma Capital in 2020, Darshan was a senior analyst at Alchemy Capital Management for almost 10 years. He also has experience as a credit rating analyst (CRISIL Ltd) and as a software engineer (Tata Consultancy Services Ltd). Darshan holds a bachelor’s in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai. He has completed his MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
Ekta Mehta is a Portfolio Manager at Karma Capital Advisors. She has over 12 years of rich experience spread across multiple facets of investing and financial analysis. She is responsible for managing large cap funds along with coverage of companies in key sectors like Banking, Financials, Insurance, FMCG, Hotels, Hospitals and Oil & Gas. Prior to Karma Capital, Ekta was with MSCI and SGA and explored varied domains of Indexing and Investor Relations. Before that she was with B&K securities as a sell-side analyst covering the media sector and had a brief stint as Research Associate at Karma Capital. Ekta completed her MBA in Finance from N.L Dalmia Institute of Management studies and holds a CFA degree from ICFAI university.
