A special CBI court in Delhi reserved its order on Saturday on taking cognizance of the
third set of charges in the 2G spectrum case alleging
criminal conspiracy and cheating by three more firms and five people, including
promoters of the Essar Group.
After the
Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) public prosecutor U.U. Lalit read out the objective part of the charge sheet, CBI special Judge O.P. Saini said that the court will pronounce its order on December 21 (Wednesday) regarding taking cognizance of the chargesheet.
"Essar and Loop are same companies but they have acquired 21 UAS (Unified Access Service) licences by not revealing there own identity," said Lalit.
