
Bharti Airtel's broadband customers now have the option to buyadditional data access at a fixed price. In the earlier system, the customersused to pay for every megabyte of additional usage.
Airtel's new broadband plan, Smartbyte, is available to its customersin packs ranging from 1GB to 50GB.
Its 1 GB additional pack is available at Rs 99; 2 GB for Rs 159,5 GB for Rs 299, 10 GB for Rs 499, 20 GB for Rs 799 and 50 GB for Rs 1,499.
Airtel broadband customers can also now keep a track oftheir internet usage. Users will be alerted on the GBs (usage) left in theiraccount and the number of days remaining in their billing cycle.
The additional data usage opted for would be valid for theremainder of the monthly billing cycle. Customers can opt for their Smartbytespack of choice anytime after they have reached 80 per cent of their high speeddata transfer limit.
