Angry Birds: Rovio makes popular game available across platforms

Casual gamers have a reason to smile. Their favorite game 'Angry Birds' has finally invaded the Space.

Rovio Entertainment, the creator of Angry Birds has announced the availability of Angry Birds Space for major platforms including iOS, Android, PC as well as the Mac.  

This new version of the game will have 60 levels initially and more shall be added with the subsequent updates. The game will have hidden goodies, secret levels and cool space content. At the moment, iOS users can even access more content for the game through in-app purchase.

According to the company's press release, "From floating through space in zero gravity, to using the gravity of nearby planets to set up spectacular trick shots, Angry Birds Space takes the gameplay that fans already know and love to a totally new level. With brand new birds, brand new superpowers, and a whole galaxy to explore, the sky is no longer the limit!"

Downloadable from the respective application stores, PC users will have to visit Rovio's website to download the game.

Angry Birds Space is priced at $0.99 for iPhone and iPod Touch while the Angry Bird Space HD is priced at $2.99 for iPad. The version with ads is available for free for Android devices whereas users can also go for an ad-free version by paying $0.99.

For Mac, the game comes at $4.99 while the PC version can be bought for $5.49.
