Tech giant Apple Inc's much anticipated iWatch will only be available in markets by the beginning of 2015.
Reports suggest that the company will announce its new gadget on September 9, but will not roll out the device in stores immediately.
According to the Mashable, the smartwatch would be announced during Apple's September 9 event but would not be available until sometime after the holidays, possibly early 2015.
However, Apple authorities refused to comment on the issue.
Actual availability of the iWatch is not yet revealed, but it's likely that users will at least get a peek at Apple's new wearable in just a few weeks.
According to a report by CNET, the gap between the unveiling and shipment of a new Apple device is quite big this time, equivalent to the first iPhone that was announced in January 2007 and was not shipped until June.
The iWatch will miss the peak selling season in the tech market.
Apple has considered charging $400 for its first wearable device, with lower prices for different models.
