Technology giant Apple promises to add a search field to the Photos app which would allow users to search with date or location.
The search field would include categories such as Nearby, One Year Ago, and Favorites, so users would not have to spend much time scrolling through images, which would make it much easier than previous versions of the app.
In 2013, Apple's iOS 7 was already a big improvement, giving users the ability to search through photos by location and date rather than scrolling through an endless block of photos.
However, if users wanted to find an individual photo in iOS 7 and did not know the date, or if most of their photos were taken in the same location (your town, for example), it meant scrolling through tons of photos to find what they were looking for, CNET reported.
The tech major has, thus, promised to improve the photo search.
