Echoing its domestic success,
"Barfi" has done well at the overseas box office. "Barfi" pulled in around $2.25 million from overseas over the opening weekend.
"Barfi" also edged out "Raajneeti" as
Ranbir Kapoor's biggest opener overseas.
"Raajneeti" had collected $2.10 million while Ranbir Kapoor's earlier starrers "Rockstar" and "Anjaana Anjaani" had collected $1.65 million and $1.60 million respectively.
"Barfi" raked in over $1 million over the weekend from North America. In other major overseas markets, "Barfi" collected 230,000 pounds from the UK, $575,000 from the UAE and $149,000 from Australia.
Meanwhile, "Raaz 3" has collected around $1 million plus in ten days across overseas markets.
