Rock-steady collections
continue at the box office for Farhan Akhtar-starrer 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', helping the movie emerge as a super hit.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has now collected Rs 69.50 crore in the first 10 days of its release. Trade watchers say the movie could we be among the top ten grossing films of all time in Delhi/UP and Punjab circles.
The biopic, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and inspired by the life of former athlete and Olympian Milkha Singh, is also
the third biggest hit of 2013 after 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Aashiqui 2'.
According to
Boxofficeindia.com, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag showed superb collections of about Rs 16 crore in its second weekend, backed by an excellent run in Delhi and Punjab circles.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government on Saturday granted tax exemption to the biopic inspired by the life of Milkha Singh, a move that experts say could well take the movie past the Rs 100-crore mark.
