Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE),
the country's premier bourse, will reshuffle various indices from December 23.
The exchange, Asia's oldest, will include
Axis Bank in the S&P BSE Sensex and Aditya Birla Nuvo in the S&P BSE 100 index effective December 23.
The exchange will exclude Jindal Steel & Power from the S&P BSE Sensex and Suzlon Energy from S&P BSE 100, BSE said in a statement.
The S&P BSE Teck indices will see inclusion of Hexaware Technologies, Indian Infotech, Just Dial, PVR and Finolex Cables, the release said.
BSE said it will also exclude Union Bank from the S&P BSE Bankex and Financial Technologies, Eros International, Navneet Publications, OnMobile Global and Vakrangee Software from the S&P BSE Teck index.
BSE has decided to include Marico Ltd, Procter & Gamble Hygiene, Bayer CropScience, Just Dial, Religare Enterprises, Page Industries, Mindtree, Supreme Industries, Indian Infotech, Hathway Cable, Gruh Finance and Info Edge in the S&P BSE 200 indices.
