Jet Airways partners with ngpay to enable e-ticketing via mobile phones

The country's largest airline Jet Airways on Thursday announced the launch of ticketing through mobile phones .

The facility is being offered in partnership with Ngpay, a leading provider of mobile-based commercial services.

This service will allow guests to book, cancel and refund their e-tickets and also manage payment cards on their phones. Upon completion of the booking process, an eTicket will automatically be sent to the guest's preferred email address, the airline said in a release.

To activate this facility, Jet Airways guests would need to download the Ngpay's mobile ticketing application on their GPRS-enabled mobile handsets, which can be done through an text message "JetNgpay" to 56388.

Jet Airways chief commercial officer Sudheer Raghavan expressed confidence that the facility will be appreciated by the passengers.
