
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said in his Budget speech that the government was committed to providing quality education and planned to upgrade 80,000 secondary schools in the country.
The Finance Minister made the statement while presenting his maiden full-year Budget for the 2015-16 financial year in the Lok Sabha.
Jaitley also said in his Budget speech that the government wanted to provide medical facilities in each village and city.
