Dr Reddy's Laboratories on Tuesday reported 32.37 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 407.44 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 307.8 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Dr Reddy's Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE.
The net income from sales and services during the period under review stood at Rs 2,880.85 crore, up 27.03 per cent from Rs 2,267.79 crore in the same period last fiscal, it added.
Revenues from global generics segment stood at Rs 2,010 crore in the second quarter, up 25 per cent, driven by key markets of North America, India and other emerging markets.
During the quarter, the company launched 18 new generic products, filed 11 new product registrations and filed 10 DMFs globally.
