English Vinglish does good business at box office

Despite a not-so-strong opening on Friday, "English Vinglish" managed to do good business at the box office.

The comeback movie of Sridevi, "English Vinglish" is expected to collect around 19-20 crore net in the first week at the box office for its Hindi version.

The box office collection of "English Vinglish" is expected to go up once the numbers for the Telegu version and overseas markets are added up.

Since a good number of releases are lined up over the next weekends "English Vinglish" will get a tough fight for screen space.

Meanwhile, "Barfi" hit the 100 crore net mark on Sunday, its 17th day since its release.
