Etios Liva, Toyota's
first hatchback, will hit Indian roads on June 27, with the launch scheduled in New Delhi. It is estimated to be priced between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 6 lakh.
FIRST LOOK: Pictures from the meet when Liva was announced Etios Liva was earlier to be launched in April, but the Japanese auto major postponed it to June. With the overwhelming response it got for its sedan Etios, Toyota was compelled to bring forward the launch date of the small car, reducing the long waiting period.
Etios Liva is essentially a
hatchback version of the sedan and will be seen with a smaller 1.2-litre petrol engine and later with a 1.4-litre diesel engine.
Liva will be Toyota's foray into the highly popular premium hatchback segment. The company said the car is stylishly designed for today's youth and will be competitively priced, offering functionality and value for money.

The show stopper is the TV ad campaign, which will feature music composed by AR Rahman.
The concept vehicles of the Etios and Etios Liva were first unveiled at the Auto Expo last year in Delhi, creating a buzz, and later traveled across the country with the 'Toyota Q-World' - reaching out to more than 1 lakh prospective customers.
