Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday said the
eurozone crisis has impacted investment all around the world and
India is no exception .
"With liberalisation of FDI and other steps, we have travelled considerable distance in the road to fiscal consolidation and reforms," Chidambaram also said.
He said more reforms are being contemplated.
"I am confident the Food Security Bill will be passed soon by Parliament, perhaps in the Budget session itself," the Finance Minister said.
"We are steadily working on the next generation of reforms and will put the economy back on the high growth path," Chidambaram said.
