Technically, HTC One S is the
second sibling of the HTC One family - it
has been launched after the release of HTC One X and One V. The expensive price tag of Rs 33,590 made us wonder what is so special about this device.
But holding it in the hand brushed away all our doubts. There is something special about the One S. The sleek unibody at 7.8mm gelled with a 4.3 inch display makes it desirable to hold.

Top 10 smartphones Interestingly, switching from the One X to One S wasn't disappointing. The Sense UI over the Android IceCream Sandwich was accompanied by a smooth performance. Even though the One S runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 1.7GHz dual-core processor (One X has quad core), there wasn't any lag.

There is also an 8MP camera onboard with zero shutter lag. Only the display isn't as bright as the One X.
There is a lot more to test - the Beats Audio, camera and video capture, gaming and heavy graphic apps and above all the battery backup.
