Google Contacts, which occupies the core of the company's other services like Gmail, Google Plus, Hangouts and others, is getting a makeover.
The new look is inspired from the search giant's other services that have adopted its Material Design language.
According to a Tech Crunch report, Google is also introducing a few new features that will make using Google Contacts a bit easier.
It will now be easier to merge multiple profiles of your contacts. You will also be able to see recent meetings and emails exchanged with a person right in Google Contacts, along with a redesigned and updated contact card.
The preview is rolling out now but users can bypass that process to head straight to contacts.google.com/preview directly.
