Google jumped directly into the
tablet battle when it will sell its Nexus 7, based on its Android operating system, pitting it directly against Apple's iPad, Amazon.com Inc.'s Kindle Fire and Microsoft's Surface.
Priced at $199 for
8 gigabytes version and $249 for 16 GB, the Nexus 7 will be available next month.
