Google has stopped taking further orders for the 16GB version of its
Nexus 7 tablet due to overwhelming demand, says a Guardian report published on its website
According to the report, Google has now closed further orders of the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 on its Google Play store in the US and UK.
However, according to the report, the 8 GB model of Google Nexus 7 is said to be in stock.
The report said that the 8GB version of Google Nexus 7 is only being sold through Google's own store.
Although Nexus 7 carries the Google brand, the machine is made by ASUS. Google Nexus 7 is powered by quad-core processor 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 and it runs on the latest Android operating system,
