Google has said that it will deploy planes to photograph major cities for capturing more realistic 3D views in the
Google Earth version of its
maps.
The photos taken by the planes would get converted into 3D versions with the help of a technology developed by the internet search giant.
San Francisco will be one of the first cities where Google would capture 3D images though the names of the other cities are not known yet.
