Hero MotoCorp, the country's
largest two-wheeler maker, on Thursday said its net profit
rose by 42.89 per cent to Rs 613.03 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, vis-a-vis the same period last financial year.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 429 crore for the same period last financial year, Hero MotoCorp said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income of the company rose to Rs 6,107.73 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, from Rs 5,223.69 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Shares of Hero MotoCorp were quoted at Rs 1,900.75 on BSE at the end of Thursday's trade, up 2.35 per cent from their previous close.
