Hero MotoCorp sales decline 6% in June

 The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Monday reported a 5.95 per cent decline in total sales at 5,02,279 units for June this year.

In the same month last year, it had sold 5,34,091 units, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.

Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said: "We continue to retail well with our star models riding high and new launches showing immense promise. As regards the industry, market conditions continue to be sluggish. Early onset of monsoon is a positive sign that should improve market sentiment in the coming months."
