Honda Cars India (HCIL) has introduced two new grades of its newly launched multi-purpose vehicle Mobilio, priced between Rs 9.46 lakh and Rs 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new grade V(O) will be positioned on top of the existing E, S and V grades in both petrol and diesel versions. It will be priced at Rs 9.46 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 10.45 lakh in diesel. The Mobilio RS(O) diesel will be priced at Rs 11.55 lakh.
The new grades of Mobilio feature audio video navigation (AVN) and rear parking camera, the company said in a statement. "The AVN system and rear view parking camera are one of the most sought after features and adds to the premium feel of the car," HCIL Senior Vice President Marketing & Sales Jnaneswar Sen said.
The RS and RS(O) grades will be made available from mid-September 2014, HCIL added.
HCIL had launched the Mobilio in India in July priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company could not introduce the AVN equipped grades due to technical glitches then.
The complete range of the Mobilio is now available in 10 variants. The company had sold 3,365 units of the multi-purpose vehicle in July with over 10,000 bookings up till the month.
