As we are still waiting for the official announcement of the launch of HTC's flagship phones on both Android and Windows Phone 7 operating system, the handsets are already retailing in the market.
Despite Microsoft's claim about WP7 devices to be available in 2011, HTC's HD 7 becomes the first WP7 device to retail in the Indian market. Boasting of a 4.3 inch high resolution display, with a kickstand and SRS Wow HD virtual surround sound, the phone is expected to bundle as a smartphone with multimedia features.
Along with 720p video recording, the phone will have HTC Hub for more applications. With box price of Rs 34,000, HD 7 is retailing at the shelf price of Rs 30,400.
Similarly, after much delay, the HTC Desire HD is also retailing in the market for Rs 31,000. This device is an Android warrior on v2.2 aka Froyo with a 4.3 inch display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor and 8 MP camera. Unfortunately, with the launch of the Desire HD, the price of HTC Desire hasn't witnessed any drops and it still retails around Rs 28,000.
