Arshad Warsi-starrer Jolly LLB, a satire on India's legal system, continues to do well at the box office , notching another Rs 1.75-2 crore in collections on Monday.

The Subhash Kapoor directed movie had opened with big expectations on March 15 and collected about Rs 3 crore on its first day. The movie also stars Boman Irani and Amrita Rao.

The story follows a struggling lawyer named Jolly (Arshad), who wants to become India's greatest lawyer, however, all of his cases seem to flop. When he comes to Delhi in search of the star case, he gets involved with one of the most popular and expensive lawyers, Rajpal (Boman).

Jolly LLB registered a decent first weekend at the box office, collecting about Rs 12 crore, faring best in Delhi/UP and East Punjab (Rs 3.20 crore nett and Rs 1.45 crore nett respectively).

Multiplexes continue to drive the movie's sales, against single screen theatres.

With almost 40 to 50 per cent of the film shot in court, it has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 10 crore.

Despite Monday's collections being a 35-40 per cent drop from its first day sales , market analysts expect Jolly LLB to continue to do brisk business. Traders say the movie could well go on to become one of the best performers of 2013 so far in the low-budget category.
