Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga is
the latest convertible to hit the Indian market. At an event in Bangalore, the company launched its IdeaPad Yoga 13-inch and 11-inch devices that have the ability to flip and fold from an ultrabook
into a tablet in a singular motion.
The Yoga also features Lenovo's Enhanced Experience 8.0, to help explore new usage scenarios with a world of apps, while offering features like faster boot up and cloud services.
The Yoga 13 is
powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processors and weighs a mere 1.54 kg thanks to a slim 0.6 inch frame. The device promises eight hours of battery life.
The Yoga 11 is lighter at 1.25 kg and offer two more hours of battery life. But it will be a Windows RT version and will hence run on the ARM-based Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.
"The product is targeted at individuals who want to enhance their performance at work and play through one extraordinarily light device that offers flexible multi-modes. Despite having two devices rolled into one, the Yoga is unbelievably thin, offering the user great mobility and convenience," said Rajesh Thadani, Director, Consumer Business Segment, Lenovo India.
The IdeaPad Yoga 13 will be available from Rs 84,290, while the Yoga 11 will be available from Rs 61,790.
