
Chinese tech firm Lenovo has launched its voice calling tablet A8-50 at Rs 17,999 in India.
The tablet which sports a eight-inch screen has 1280800 pixel resolution and 10-point multi-touch. The tablet is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor sporting MediaTek MT8382 SoC having 1GB of RAM.
The tablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, which will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat later.
A8-50 comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The gadget has 16GB internal storage which can further be increased to 32GB through a micro SD card.
On the connectivity front, the Lenovo A8-50 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The tablet is available on e-commerce website Flipkart and Lenovo stores. It is available in four colour options- blue, white, red and yellow.
The tablet has up to 8 hours battery life for WiFi browsing and weighs 360g (0.8 lbs).
The Lenovo A8-50 has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio enhancement.
