After a long delay, Google,
collaborating with LG Electronics, has launched the Nexus 4 in India. The device, priced at Rs 25,999, was
announced in October last year.
Given the impressive specifications, it is priced much lower than the competitors.
The Nexus 4 has a 4.7-inch capacitive display with 1280 x 786p resolution. It runs on the latest version of the Android operating system, v 4.2.2, and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro, a 1.5GHz quad core processor with 2GB RAM.
The device has an 8 MP rear camera with a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It provides 16 GB onboard storage. The battery is 2100 mAh. The device supports wireless charging. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and Android Beam.
"LG Electronics is pleased to partner Google on the release of the Nexus 4 in India," Soon Kwon, Managing Director, LG Electronics India, said.
