Mahindra & Mahindra on Wednesday reported 19.96 per cent increase in its
standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 30 at Rs 725.64 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 604.88 crore in the same period last year, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a filing to the BSE.
The standalone total income during the first quarter also went up by 39.25 per cent to Rs 9,367.39 crore from Rs 6,727.08 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Reacting to the numbers, shares of the company were trading 4.24 per cent higher at Rs 725 apiece on the BSE in the afternoon trade.
