
Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday said itplans to re-launch its Stallio motorcycle by November after discontinuingproduction earlier this year due to faulty components.
"Stallio is expected to be in themarket again by November this year," an official of Mahindra Two WheelersLtd said.
Launched in 2010, the 110-cc Stallio hadrun into a speed bump after customers complained about inherent problems in thebike.
Subsequently, in February this year, thecompany announced the suspension of production of the bike.
The company had admitted that certain partsof the bike required fine-tuning and adjustment was necessary with respect to asmall proportion of the entire product.
At the time of announcing the suspension,the firm had said: "It is a short-term phenomenon and will be sorted outat the earliest."
The official also said there is no timelinefor the launch of its proposed 300-cc bike, Mojo, as the focus of the companyis on successfully re-introducing Stallio in the market.
On the scooters front, the official saidthe company may increase prices in the next couple of months.
