
Micromax, a home-bred phone manufacturer, on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone Canvas Sliver 5 here. The company says the device is the slimmest and lightest in the world.
The 97 gram device will ship with a 5.1 mm thick body.
The device, which has LTE support and a Sony Exmos CMOS chip-attached camera with Blue Filter, will come with an AMOLED display and will be available in two colours -- gold and black.
The phone will also sport a DiracHD audio suite that promises deeper sound and better bass.
It will come with a Airtel double data package and will be backed by a DDR3 RAM and a 2,000 mAH battery for longer usage.
Micromax currently has the second largest market share in India with 18 per cent following Samsung which has 22 per cent according to analytics firm IDC.
